Check out my transformation of the master bedroom at my Sim's new house!
Above: This is how it looked when I purchased the house.
I
moved stuff around and switched the bed with one from another
bedroom,added a table(from another room), moved the flower pic, and
added a mirror(from another room).
I purchased a few items like another flower pic, lamps, curtains, and chandelier.
Now I just changed the color of almost everything, changed the walls and floor and voila! A beautiful master bedroom :)
When I get ideas in my head for home decor, I just go on my Sims 3 game and I try to recreate what is in my head!
